Although the Xperia Z2 is still not available all around the world, Sony is already working on its successor. The upcoming Xperia Z3 will apparently be very thin, rocking a metal frame and PVD coating to make for a mirror stainless steel look and feel. In addition, this kind of body is more corrosion, impact and scratch resistant.
Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 805 chip clocked at 2.7GHz will reportedly run the show, while other specs include a 20.7-megapixel camera and Adreno 420 graphics.
On the downside though, Sony will still use the full HD screen rather than the one with QHD resolution. Guess the development of this phone is already underway and there’s no time to change things. Or something of that sort.
We can only hope that the lack of a QHD screen will make the end-product that much more affordable. We should get all the answers in August when Sony officially announces the Xperia Z3. Stay tuned in the meantime…
