As we’ve told you before, this will be a rugged version of the “regular” Galaxy S5, boasting a slightly bigger 5.2-inch screen (vs Galaxy S5’s 5.1-inch display), while the rest of the specs will be very similar. The Active will pack Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 801 chip, 2GB of RAM, 16-megapixel camera and 16GB of internal storage. We’re not sure whether this unit will pack a heart rate sensor, but we do know it will have a built-in barometer as well as the ability to keep working under water for one hour (vs 30 minutes the Galaxy S5 can sustain). Moreover, judging by its look, accidental drops won’t destroy the device.
So, who’s in?
