T-Mobile will soon launch a new low-cost Windows Phone, Nokia Rise. According to EVleaks, this will the carrier’s version of the upcoming Lumia 530, which is an entry-level Windows Phone 8.1 device that supersedes earlier Lumia 520 and Lumia 525 models.
While we’re not sure what this unit is all about, we’re guessing it will pack a WVGA screen, Qualcomm’s dual-core processor while boasting 512MB of RAM. Or 1 gig, again – we’re not sure.
There will also be some rather basic camera on the back, most likely with a 5-megapixel sensor. Don’t expect it to be as nearly as powerful as the one Nokia PureView phones have; you’ll be able to take occasional shots, though.
All said, we expect the Lumia 530 to cost less than or around $150 sans any strings attached… More to come, obviously.
