Just when we’ve told you that Oppo will announce the N1 Mini on May 30th, we’re hearing that another “mini” variant will be unveiled on that day. That would be the (also) rumored Nubia X6 Mini, which will apparently come with a 5.5-inch screen (with QHD / 2K resolution?), Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 chip, and 13-megapixel cameras both on the front and back. Yeah, it’s not a “mini” device by any stretch of imagination except when compared to the “regular” Nubia X6, which sports a massive 6.44-inch display and is really more of a tablet than smartphone.
All said, we expect ZTE’s Nubia X6 Mini to compete in the very high end of the market, offering solid bang for the buck — it will likely we be more affordable than the LG G3, while boasting similar specs sheet.
Unfortunately we don’t know how long it will take for ZTE to bring this phone to the Western hemisphere, but we’re hoping this to be a short wait.
