Certain Chinese OEMs can’t help but make copies of well-known devices. The latest gadget that caught their eye is Pebble, the smartwatch that started its life on Kickstarter and has gathered an impressive following ever since.
It got its Chinese “version” in the form of Zebble, which not only looks like Pebble but also has a similarly designed UI. Alas, you won’t get the same deal, as the real Pebble comes with its own app store and few additional features Zebble owners could only dream of.
That said, we’re not sure what exactly Zebble can do for you and honestly, we don’t care that much. We do know a better way to spend 80 EUR than buying a clone watch with spotty quality.
While we’re sure Pebble folks would want Zebble to disappear from the face of the planet, they probably also like the idea of their watch being so popular that some company would want to clone it. What do you think?
