Samsung is preparing to launch the Android 4.4.3 update for the Galaxy S5 next month. According to the leaked document obtained by AndroidGeeks, and brought to our attention by AndroidCentral, the first model to get the goodies will be the one rocking Sammy’s own Exynos Octa chip with the Snapdragon 801-powered variant likely to follow a month or so afterwards.
In other words, Europeans will be among the first ones to benefit from all the enhancements included in the latest version of Google’s mobile platform, while Americans will get the same deal at a later date, most likely by the end of summer.
Also worth adding is that the same document says the LTE-A version of Galaxy S4 will be getting its serving of Android 4.4.3 in July. For those who count these sort of things, this Galaxy S4 variant is sold in just a few places around the world, including Germany, South Korea and Japan.
