China’s GEAK, not Motorola, to launch the world’s first circular smartwatch

China’s GEAK is preparing to launch the world’s first circular smartwatch beating Motorola to the punch. The device is expected to be unveiled on June 20th and available shortly afterwards, at least in China. As for those of us living in other parts of the world, we’ll have to get that watch from some Chinese exporter company.

We don’t know what kind of hardware this watch will boast under the hood, but we do know it won’t be made out of plastic and will be “comfortable and graceful,” whatever that means. We don’t have the real-world images to show you but a few sketches you can see above.

It’s worth reminding that this isn’t GEAK’s first smart watch. Last year, they unveiled a square-shaped model. That unit never caught on in the West, though.
