LG G Watch Launches Worldwide

LG has just announced the launch of the LG G Watch across the globe. The G Watch is the first smartwatch powered by Android Wear to hit the market, with other Android Wear devices such as the Moto 360 on their way soon. The G Watch features a buttonless design and an always on display, and is compatible with Android devices running Android 4.3 and up. Here’s a look at what the G Watch has under the hood:

In United States, Canada, France, Ireland, Germany, Italy, Spain, United Kingdom, Australia, India, Japan and South Korea the G Watch will be available for purchase both online and in retail stores. If you’re in Brazil, Mexico, Russia, Singapore and New Zealand, the LG G Watch will only be available at retailers. Price will vary depending on region. AT&T will offer the G Watch for $229, so expect other U.S. carriers to offer the G Watch at the same price point.
