Sprint has rolled out 4G LTE coverage to 17 new locations today, a welcome move to any Sprint customer. Sprint’s 4G LTE rollout, which began in 2012 has resulted in over 500 locations being blanketed with 4G LTE. Coverage outside of urban areas is Sprint’s weak point (T-Mobile’s as well) and if the yellow carrier wants to stay viable, new markets are key.
Sprint’s not stopping either, with more 4G LTE markets slated to light up in the future. Now if we could only get some of that Sprint Spark action..
Here’s a list of the newly lit up markets:
- Auburn, N.Y.
- Bethesda, Md.
- Bloomsburg/Berwick, Pa.
- Burlington, N.C.
- Danville, Ill.
- Dubuque, Iowa
- Eau Claire, Wis.
- Eureka, Arcata, Fortuna, Calif.
- Hattiesburg, Miss.
- Hopkinsville, Ky.
- Indiana, Pa.
- Marion/Herrin, Ill.
- Mt. Vernon, Ill.
