There’s no doubt that the upcoming Meizu MX4 will be an amazing device. From what we’ve heard before, it will be available in few different versions, one of which will rock top-notch specs that includes a 5.5-inch 2560×1536 pixels screen, Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 chip, 3GB of RAM and a 16-megapixel main camera. The other model could have a smaller 5-inch display that tops at full HD resolution.
Now we have another detail to add to the pile – the MX4 could also emerge as a device with world’s thinnest bezel.
According to the leaked photos you can see on this page, the glass panel’s border reportedly measures just 1.1 millimeters, which could potentially “enable” accidental taps on the screen. Some kind of software could prevent this, though.
The regular, Android-powered version aside, we also expect to see the Ubuntu Touch-based MX4, which could deliver the true convergence, allowing us to have one device for all our needs… as long as we don’t need Photoshop, AutoCAD or some other Windows or Mac OS software. For the majority of users, however, this could be the only phone (and computer) they will ever use. That and an external monitor + keyboard + mouse. Can’t wait to try it out. 😉
