It looks like Siri may have been a bad, bad personal assistant. A Florida man accused of murder may have used Apple’s digital assistant to find a safe place to dump his roommate’s body.
Pedro Bravo is accused of killing his former roommate in the midst of an argument over an ex-girlfriend in 2012. According to police, Bravo used Siri to ask, “I need to hide my roommate” and that his iPhone’s flashlight app was used nine times the night of the killing, for a total of 48 minutes. Bravo’s iPhone location data also shows that he was not where he claimed to be the night of the murder.
The trial is expected to wrap up later this week.
