You got that right, Motorola is seemingly preparing a monster phone for Verizon Wireless, one that will have a rather unique 4.59-inch screen with Quad HD (1440 x 2560 pixels) resolution. That’s crazy PPI count (640) that makes Apple’s Retina display look like something from the previous century.
In addition, the rumored Droid Turbo will also come with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 805 chip clocked at 2.65GHz, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage, 20-megapixel rear and 2-megapixel front-facing cameras.
Now, this could’ve been a typo and that screen could be a “vanilla full HD,” but we want to believe that’s not the case.
Anyhow, we’ll be definitely following this story and get back to you as soon as we have something new to share. I have to add though, that I’m not sure a Quad HD resolution makes sense on a 4.6-inch screen. I could be wrong though; and we’ll have to test out such display before making a judgment…
