Well folks, it’s still not official but it’s “almost there.” We’re no longer dealing with listings on third-party sites and leaked photos; the information about the Xperia Z3 Tablet has been caught at Sony’s own website (PDF file).
Unfortunately though, we still can’t tell how big this thing is going to be, but chances are the Japanese company will go for a 7- or 8-inch screen. Moreover, we expect to get a device that is rather light, hence easy to carry around. Plus, we would like to get some cool accessories that go with the Z3 Tablet Compact, including the ever-useful Bluetooth keyboard case.
Specs wise, we are looking forward to get similar, or even the same, hardware to the Xperia Z1 Tablet. Sony is known for cramming top hardware in its smaller devices; take the Xperia Z1 Compact as an example.
Sony will likely officially announce the Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact within two weeks at IFA in Berlin, Germany. We’ve no doubts it will be an amazing product, but we’re also hoping it won’t be too expensive… 😉
