The Moto 360 isn’t going to be the only round-faced Android Wear powered smartwatch out there. LG’s got one of their own, and they’re going to unveil the thing at IFA in Berlin in a little over a week.
LG’s teaser video doesn’t tell us much about the smartwatch except that it is indeed round. LG’s first attempt at Android Wear, the G Watch has been available for a few months now. So far, no round-faced Android Wear powered smartwatches have been released, and Motorola’s Moto 360 has up until now been the only one slated for a consumer release. Watch out Motorola – LG could just beat you to the game. The Moto 360 is looking to be an impressive device, but it’s going to be a little more spendy than the current Android Wear options. This is where LG’s round-faced watch could shine. Undercutting the Moto 360 in the price arena could help LG become a front-runner in the emerging smartwatch market.
Are you waiting already sold on the Moto 360, or are you willing to give LG’s round watch a shot? Check out the teaser video below and let us know what you think.
