Xiaomi working on a 9.2-inch low-cost tablet with Snapdragon 410 chip

Xiaomi MiPad

Xiaomi may be working on another tablet, if we could take a listing at GFXBench database for anything. Said benchmark site has recently been used to test a still unannounced Xiaomi-made device that apparently comes with Qualcomm’s 64-bit Snapdragon 410 processor clocked at 1.2GHz, Adreno 306 graphics, and a 9.2-inch 1280×720 pixels screen. In addition, we have 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage, while Android 4.4.4 KitKat is running the show.

At this stage, however, we are still clueless whether this mysterious Xiaomi tablet will ever launch, and if that happens, where it will be sold. Chances are the Chinese firm will want to rush with the official announcement to have another tablet — aside from the rock-solid Mi Pad (pictured above) — ready for the upcoming Christmas season. Judging by the leaked specs, this will be a rather affordable device, which should find its buyers in the emerging markets of the world.
