Here’s some good news for Amazon Fire TV owners: HBO GO is now available for your binge watching pleasure. As for the Amazon Fire TV Stick, no HBO GO for now, but it will be available in the spring of 2015.
HBO GO is an app that lets HBO subscribers watch shows, movies and other HBO content on their mobile device, streaming sticks and boxes, video game consoles and more. Currently, one needs a HBO subscription to watch content on the go, but HBO is rumored to launch a service early next year which lets customers pay a monthly fee to access HBO GO without a cable subscription.

Amazon Fire TV app selection up 4x since launch
SEATTLE—December 15, 2014—(NASDAQ: AMZN)—Amazon today announced HBO GO is now available on Amazon Fire TV with an HBO subscription through participating affiliates, with integration of its full catalog into Fire TV’s voice search. HBO GO will also be available on Fire TV Stick this spring.
