Those of you who have already gone out and picked up the BlackBerry Storm2 will have likely already noticed the new Bing application that comes preloaded – it was certainly one of the first things that caught me by surprise when trying out RIM’s latest touchscreeen smartphone. Well, Microsoft has announced that Verizon customers packing the original BlackBerry Storm 9530 as well; the app packs everything you would need from a search app, like voice search, location awareness, predictive results, and mapping functions. For me, Bing remains a curious and almost tempting alternative to Google, but have yet to really make the plunge. Anyone have any particularly great/terrible experience with Microsoft’s search engine? Head over to m.bing.com on your Storm to get downloading.
