TeliaSonera has recently announced their “all-you-can-eat” music download service, which will be offered to the operator’s more than 13.3 million mobile customers in six countries. Telia in Sweden will be the first one to launch the service, with other markets — including Norway, Finland, Denmark, Estonia and Lithuania — to follow in the future.

Users will be able to download as many songs as they want and the music catalog features artists from both the major record labels as well as several independents like Bonnier Amigo and Orchard.

To promote the new service, Telia will be offering three months of music totally free, after which users have to pay SEK 99/month to continue to use it. Data traffic for mobile music downloads is included in the monthly fee. To start using the service, users need to text the word “music” to 4466.

Commenting on the announcement, TeliaSonera’s Head of Product Management for mobile services, Indra Åsander, said: “With a Telia Musik subscription, we are taking yet one more step towards giving our customers access to what is basically unlimited music.”
