Hands-on with the LG Remarq, Cosmos

We’re at CTIA in Las Vegas this week and it gives us an opportunity to check out all the latest devices. LG Electronics’ Remarq and Cosmos aren’t ever going to be confused with the EVO but they both seem like solid messaging devices.

The Remarq has the distinction of been a “green” device that’s made with some recycled material. The Cosmos looks very boring to me – it’s your standard candybar device with a full horizontal sliding QWERTY. But, a Verizon Wireless retailer said the Cosmos would fly off the shelves because it doesn’t require a data plan and it’s good to text. Both felt pretty good in the hand and they do feel worth more than their dirt-cheap prices.
