It’s been an interesting last couple of weeks for Apple, as it’s been a time filled with both highs and lows. The Cupertino based tech company announced its latest iPhone on September 12, then watched it a break a record of 2 million phones sold in a weekend. Unfortunately, all that great news has been overshadowed by its flawed iOS 6 Maps application, along with some cosmetic issues with its hardware. Just when you thought that was the only bad news, think again. Now users who upgraded to iOS 6 are experiencing problems with their WiFi connectivity.
According to a long thread in the Apple support forums, the issue is so bad that rebooting, resetting, and restoring won’t work, and the only solution as of right now is to swap the device out at a Genius bar. People are saying good things about not having any issues from Apple when it comes to replacing their devices. Apparently, all you have to do is mention the “disabled WiFi button,” and no further investigation will be required.
I haven’t noticed a change in my iPhone 4S’s WiFi connectivity, but my battery seems to drain a little bit more than usual. I don’t know, maybe this could be something I’m doing.
Is there anyone out there experiencing WiFi issues on their iPhone?
