One of iOS‘ most popular Twitter clients, Twitterrific, has received an update today providing users with support for push notifications. Push notifications are still in beta, and users are being added to the service in groups of 1,000 to ensure that the service is seamless for all users.
Also in the update are features such as banners being added to profiles, sharable discussions via email or storify and a host of other bugfixes and improvements. This update brings Twitterrific from version 5.0 to 5.2.
Right now, Icon Factory is offering Twitterrific for $2.99 in the Apple App Store, 50% off of its normal price. Like we mentioned earlier, the update may not be available immediately, so if you aren’t seeing the update today, hang tight and check your device periodically for update availability.
