The iPhone 5s is launching on September 20th in Japan and other places worldwide. A man in Tokyo wants that iPhone so badly that he is willing to wait in line for 10 days, according to a report in Kotaku.
Posting his adventure as @Xxxpriuson Twitter, the man is camped out in front of the Ginza Apple Store in hopes of being the first one to score an iPhone 5s. He has his iPad, a few bags, a lawn chair and a cooler to keep him company. “I’m lined up at the Ginza Apple Store where the new iPhone 5S launches in ten days,” he said in a tweet. “This might be tough.” With nine or so more days ahead of him, he isn’t kidding — without a shelter or a working sink, it will be a rough few days.
He apparently isn’t the only one in Japan in already in line. French publication Agence France-Presse also profiles Tetsuya Tamura, a 44-year-old Japanese businessman who said he is using up his annual leave to snag the first iPhone.
