Just hours after Apple’s iPad announcements, T-Mobile’s CEO John Legere has confirmed that the magenta carrier will be offering the iPad Air with WiFi and cellular on November 1st, and the iPad mini With Retina Display later in November.
Legere also tweeted that T-Mobile will be offering a number of data plans that will take advantage of T-Mobile’s LTE network. According to Apple’s website, the iPad Air with WiFi and Cellular starts at $629 for the 16GB version, $729 for the 32GB, $829 for the 64GB model and $929 for the gargantuan 128GB model.
T-Mobile will be offering a few different data plans for the iPad Air, with starting with a free 200MB plan, 2.5GB for $30 a month and 4.5GB for $40 a month. The plans require no long-term contracts, and are month to month.
Both of the new iPads now include a retina display and the A7 64-bit processor, and are thinner and lighter than the previous iPad models.
