After a war of words between SoftBank and Dish erupted this week, SoftBank is back on the offensive and encouraging Sprint stockholders to approve its deal. Report: Amazon is considering its own smartphone

When Amazon released the Kindle Fire tablet, everybody was always a bit curious about whether Amazon would eventually release a smartphone as the next logical step. AT&T approached RIM in 2010 about building an iPhone competitor

AT&T apparently asked Research In Motion in 2010 to kindly build a competitor to the iPhone, according to a report from The Wall Street Journal. The dirty deed took place while Apple’s iPhone was still exclusively available on AT&T in the United States. “We work with all device makers to bring the best products to market for our customers,” AT&T said in a statement. Juice Mobile: RIM users dominate our network!

Toronto-based Juice Mobile released some Canadian mobile stats based on their publisher ad impression levels. From the infographic we got, you can see that RIM is dominating the picture, accounting for 45% of all the traffic.
