Layar’s Stiktu allows anyone to create and share augmented reality content

Augmented reality experts at Layar launched a new app and platform – Stiktu, allowing users to “remix the real world.” Available as a free download from the Apple AppStore and Google Play, it lets users add their own drawings, text, images and stickers to magazines, posters and more by simply scanning them with a smartphone. Dutch Oprah LINDA tests augmented reality via Layar

Layar and LINDA, the largest women’s glossy in the Netherlands, are showcasing the future of print by creating the first Dutch augmented reality magazine. As a result, the new LINDA magazine comes with so called “digital buttons” that are placed on more than 50 pages, allowing Layar users to access additional content with their smartphones.
