International remittances sent via mobile phones to reach $55 billion in 2016

According to a new report from Juniper Research, almost $55 billion in international remittances will be enabled via mobile devices in 2016, up from less than $12 billion this year. The research company goes on suggesting that touchscreen interfaces, apps and Internet access will help drive the Read more

Galaxy A phone

A friend recently asked me about the Galaxy A phone, saying someone has told him such a device exists. At first I said “it’s a scam” but later on I did some research and found such a device in our very own database. Heck I even wrote about it in May of last year (forgot about it). But… there’s big “but” here. To my knowledge, that phone was never released outside of South Korea. Plus there’s no reason to want one – it’s pretty much the original Galaxy S under Read more
