AT&T To Offer New “All In One” Prepaid Plans In June?

According to Fierce Wireless, AT&T will be revamping its prepaid services by launching a new prepaid brand called “All In One.” Sources suggest that AT&T will be offering unlimited voice, text and data service starting at $35 a month for feature phones, and $50 per month for smartphones. Although details on data allotment for the feature phone plan is not known, the smartphone plan will include 2 GB of HSPA data in the unlimited $50 plan, and may provide a plan with 5GB of data for $70 per month. AT&T announced today that the LG Optimus G Pro will be coming to its network soon, with pre-orders for the device starting on May 3rd and device availability slated for May 10th. AT&T Offering up Smartphone Trade-In Program on May 1st

Let’s face it. Your smartphone is looking older and slower when you look at devices like the HTC One and Samsung Galaxy S 4. It’s ok. It happens. AT&T is continuing its LTE rollout by announcing today the launch of several new LTE markets, bringing AT&T’s LTE presence to a total of 207 markets in the U.S. Along with the rollout of LTE in new markets comes expansions in LTE service as well. The Death Star strikes again. Word has come out that AT&T’s variant of the Samsung Galaxy S 4 will come with a locked bootloader. We’ve stressed how bad a locked bootloader is plenty of times on this site, as it makes hacking/rooting the phone for customizable software much harder. NYC Begins Free Wi-Fi, Cellular Service Rollout in Subway Stations

The New York Metropolitan Transit Authority is rolling out Wi-Fi and cellular service to 30 stations across the city, including stations in mid-town Manhattan, Times Square, Rockefeller Center, Lincoln Center and Columbus Circle. The infrastructure was rolled out by Transit Wireless, which has a reseller agreement with Boingo Wireless, who provides the Wi-Fi connectivity.
