The Archos 80 Xenon was unveiled today, adding to Archos’ Elements tablet line. The 8-inch device will come with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon S4 1.2 GHz processor and a 1024×768 IPS display, 1 GB of RAM and 4 GB of storage which is expandable via a microSD card. Dubbed “Glassware”, these new apps will use the Google Mirror API to create experiences tailored to users of Google’s cyborg tech. Google keeps expanding the list of devices compatible with its Google Wallet service. Google announced that in the coming months Android will include native support for Bluetooth Smart Ready and Bluetooth Smart devices.
