Rumor: Bluetooth Filing Shows Unknown LG Device With Snapdragon 800 Processor
Thanks to a Bluetooth filing and a User Agent Profile on Sprint’s website,we now have information that points to the release of an LG device which could be an updated Optimus G Pro, or a new handset altogether coming to the network later this year. The leak shows a handset called the LS980, which runs on Android 4.2.2 and touts a 1080p screen. The model number is in line with AT&T’s Optimus G Pro model number of E980. We don’t get to see Android smartphones with physical QWERTY keyboards that often. In fact, I can’t recall the last time such product was launched… That could change soon with the NEC Terrain, which could soon hit AT&T’s portfolio. Toshiba is apparently working on a new tablet with Nvidia’s Tegra 4 processor. AT&T To Offer New “All In One” Prepaid Plans In June?
According to Fierce Wireless, AT&T will be revamping its prepaid services by launching a new prepaid brand called “All In One.” Sources suggest that AT&T will be offering unlimited voice, text and data service starting at $35 a month for feature phones, and $50 per month for smartphones. LG working on Nexus 5 and new Google TV set, says report
LG is in the process of making a Nexus 5 and new Google TV set-top-box and television, according to a report. The plan is for the search giant and LG to collaborate on several new products including another smartphone and an OLED TV set.
