T-Mobile today has announced the availability of Nokia’s new Windows Phone 8 powered Lumia 521, which will be exclusively available on T-Mobile’s network. Staples Announces Availability of Samsung Galaxy S4

Staples today has announced details regarding the availability of the Samsung Galaxy S4 in its retail stores. The retailer will offer the Galaxy S4 on a variety of carriers, including AT&T, Sprint, Verizon and T-Mobile. Staples is offering the device for $199.99 with a two-year contract, with availability depending on the carrier. The Sony Xperia Z tablet just passed through FCC’s approval process and should now be on its way to T-Mobile. FCC Filing Shows T-Mobile Prepping Sony Xperia Z For Release

According to a new filing from the FCC, T-Mobile is planning on releasing the Sony Xperia Z on its network. T-Mobile and MetroPCS merger finalized

T-Mobile and MetroPCS announced jointly today that the merger between the two companies is complete. MetroPCS will come under the T-Mobile umbrella and the combined companies will be known as T-Mobile US. It will be traded as TMUS. For customers, there will be no immediate changes to their service. Eventually, though, T-Mobile will shut down MetroPCS’ service and will repurpose the wireless assets for its 4G and LTE service. T-Mobile won’t discontinue GoSmart Mobile despite MetroPCS merger

T-Mobile USA said it won’t shut down its GoSmart Mobile prepaid brand even after it closes the acquisition of MetroPCS. This in turn would leave the Deutsche Telekom-owned operator with two different prepaid brands.
