C Spire Wireless is extending its PERCS rewards program to social networks, allowing users to earn points by participating in activities on sites like Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Foursquare. Yup, that means C Spire is providing incentives for “liking,” “sharing,” commenting or tweeting about the company and/or one of its products or services.

In order to get started, you’ll need to create a PERCS profile on C Spire’s website or if you already one, connect it to your social media accounts. Once that part is done, you’re good to go and you can start by checking in (via Foursquare) at one of C Spire retail locations or C Spire fan events. Additionally, you should like their Facebook page and comment on the things their staff publishes. Plus, there will be some re-tweeting and commenting on YouTube clips included, all of which will get you points, which can later be redeemed for various rewards like savings on accessories, free shipping, easier upgrades, device discounts, gift cards and more.

The launch of Social PERCS builds on the major expansion of the PERCS program with customers now able to redeem PERCS reward points for gift cards from national retailers as well as a C Spire-branded bill pay card…

As usual, the update is released in stages so if you still haven’t seen it – don’t worry, it’s coming any day now. Plus, you can always manually check for the new firmware through Settings -> About -> System updates. Hopefully, you’ll get it by the time you’ve finished reading this article…
