Google not only introduced Android Studio, a new development suite to make coding easier, it also added some improvement to its Google Play developer console that’ll make it easier for developers to rollout and monetize their apps. Google I/O 2013: Android passes 900 million activations worldwide

Google announced at the Google I/O 2013 keynote this morning that it has officially reached 900 million Android activations. Firefox OS device launch plans have been confirmed today by Telefonica, which will be bringing Alcatel and ZTE devices to Spain, Colombia and Venezuela in Q3 2013. Don’t hold your breath for new devices unveiled during next month’s Google I/O. According to SidhTech’s report, we ain’t gonna see neither the Nexus 5 nor Motorola X phone announced at that time.
