AT&T To Offer New “All In One” Prepaid Plans In June?

According to Fierce Wireless, AT&T will be revamping its prepaid services by launching a new prepaid brand called “All In One.” Sources suggest that AT&T will be offering unlimited voice, text and data service starting at $35 a month for feature phones, and $50 per month for smartphones. Although details on data allotment for the feature phone plan is not known, the smartphone plan will include 2 GB of HSPA data in the unlimited $50 plan, and may provide a plan with 5GB of data for $70 per month. Apple rolls out iOS 6.1.4, brings improvements to audio speakerphone

Today Apple released a new update to the iPhone 5 that brings some minor improvements. One of the main upgrades to the new operating system is the audio for the speakerphone, while other incremental changes were kept undisclosed. We assume that the new update, weighing 11.5 MB, was filled with bug fixes as well. We’re not sure when version 6.1.4 will hit the iPod Touch and iPad. Yahoo! announced late on Wednesday that it is acquiring task manager app Astrid. The service that powers Astrid will continue to operate for the next 90 days and then it will shut down. The company will no longer accept new paid subscriptions and current paid members will receive a refund. Android Leads Tablet Market With 56.5% Market Share, According to IDC

Android tablet shipments took off last year, shipping more units than others in the tablet market, according to technology research firm IDC. According to IDC’s numbers, Android tablets shipped 27.8 million units in Q1 2013, which is a 247 percent improvement over Q1 2012. That leaves Android with a 56.5 percent share of the tablet market, with Apple coming in with 39.6 percent of tablet market share. Two new suicide attempts reported at Foxconn’s Zhengzhou factory

It’s May Day today, which is rather fitting for the somber news coming out of Foxconn regarding more suicides at its Zhengzhou factory. According to MIC Gadget, two workers have tried to commit suicide in the past weeks. One was successful, while the outcome of the other is not known.
