Wherever your loyalties lie in the latest round of Mac vs. Windows (vs. Android), you can’t deny that Microsoft’s new Windows 8 tablet ad below is pretty clever. Few days ago, Square unveiled the Square Stand, a specially designed iPad stand with an embedded card reader that creates a fancy alternative to traditional cash registers. Apple CEO Tim Cook hints that new iPhone, iPad won’t arrive until fall
Today alongside the large announcements revolving around Apple’s Q2 2013 earnings, Tim Cook spoke briefly about what Apple has in the pipeline. In doing so, he seemingly killed off rumors that there might be new devices this summer. Microsoft losing billions for not releasing Office for iPad
Microsoft could be making few more billions if it releases Office for iPad, according to a Morgan Stanley analyst. The finance firm’s Adam Holt thinks that if priced at around $60, some 30% of iPad users would buy the software, generating up to $2.5 billion for the Redmond-based giant, even after Apple has taken its own cut.
