Halfbrick’s Jetpack Joyride certainly impressed me when it was released last August, surpassing 13 million downloads after going completely free in October. iLounge scored some small, but juicy details on Apple’s upcoming case for the iPad 3 as well as the design for the sixth-generation iPhone, which is believed to be a departure from the stainless steel and glass build of the iPhone 4 and 4S. Android overtakes iPhone market share in the UK
Android has taken over in the United Kingdom as the #1 smartphone operating system in terms of market share. Kantar Worldpanel ComTech measured smartphone usage between January 2011 and January 2012 to find that Android had a 36.9 percent share while Apple’s iPhone had 28.5 percent.
