Sure you’ll need to protect your iPhone, but what case suits you best? One of my personal top picks is the case called “iSee”. If you’re an iPod user, you’ve probably already heard about these Contour Design-made cases. “I see” you might add…
Anyway, the new iPhone case is “the sleekest, strongest protective shell available.” It’s easy to use — meaning you won’t have a hard time inserting and removing your iPhone from the case – yet all controls, including the touchscreen, remain accessible. Furthermore, the secure holster keeps the iPhone right where it is needed – the beloved handset can be inserted face in or out, and it can sit in a horizontal or vertical position.

I love how the French guy gives compliments to the Nokia (NYSE: NOK) N95.

Here’s an iPhone game for true Apple (NSDQ: AAPL) fans. iWhack is developed using JavaScript and is best played in iPhone’s widescreen mode.

The goal of the game is simple – all you have to do is smack as many Steve Ballmers as possible. Microsoft (NSDQ: MSFT)’s CEO will come out of the holes, and it’s your mission to put your finger over his head to put him back where he belongs. Speed and level increases on every 5th Ballmer and the game ends when you miss 20 of them. Guess then Steve Jobs comes out to smack you.

My guess is you can’t do what this guy can with your iPhone. In the following video, Marco the virtual magician shows us some cool iPhone tricks we were not aware of. You can use the iPhone as a razor after all… Enjoy!

Developer Alex King made his iPhone work without AT&T (NYSE: T)’s service. No guarantees that it will continue to work, but for now it looks like a video iPod and iPhone test device he was hoping for. Personally, I don’t see much point in doing this — you could get the Nokia N800 Internet Tablet for surfing the web and music/video playback. On the other hand, this way you get the iPod and not some other media player — I know that there are some true iPod fans out there that would appreciate this. Also, this way an iPhone could work around the world… Actually, only the iPod and WiFi part of it…

The 37signals guys are quite fast. We only mentioned it few days ago, and now they’ve released the iPhone optimized version of their popular Ta-da list service. If you’re not familiar with Ta-Da list, it is the Web app/service that allows you to make quick lists. For instance you could make shopping, gift, or a to do list in just a few minutes. It’s free, and you can try it from here — from your iPhone or from a desktop computer.

Reports are coming in from all over the various internets that AT&T (NYSE: T)’s highly criticised EDGE network is down! We can imagine the 500,000 new iPhone users are hitting AT&T network pretty hard, but that’s no excuse for a network outage!
Interestingly, our AT&T Go Phone prepaid plan experienced network outages just days prior to the Apple (NSDQ: AAPL) iPhone launch. We attributed the outage to AT&T upgrading their EDGE network, but it seems that the entire network is experiencing growing pains under the likely intense iPhone data bombardment.
This is entirely inexcusable and should be resolved by AT&T with some account credits being issued. If you are experiencing a network outage, speak up. We’d love to get a feel for how many of you are affected!

Check out Into iPhone’s demonstration of the Apple iPhone’s intelligent virtual keyboard. It really does promote some fast typing speeds. You just have to get used to the lack of tactile feedback (which is not that bad) and the impulse to spell check every word you type. After you get used to it, you should be typing away like a pro!
Check out the video here.

USA Today felt it necessary to poll 350 newly minted iPhone owners to see if they actually liked their iPhone. To our un-surprise, they found that almost all respondents were “immensely satisfied.”
Now, we could have told you that the iPhone was a genius piece, but since USA Today put the official stamp of approval on it, we’ll just give them credit for the “discovery.”
And, with Apple (NSDQ: AAPL)’s incredible success this weekend, we can be fairly certain that the coming weeks will just mean more money for Apple (and AT&T (NYSE: T), of course).
