According to a new filing from the FCC, T-Mobile is planning on releasing the Sony Xperia Z on its network. We heard a rumor suggesting the device was making its way to T-Mobile last month, and the FCC filing nudges that rumor closer to reality. Sony launched the AOSP project for its brand new Xperia Z smartphone, allowing the hacking community to join the fun and customize things as they please.
