With the hot-new Samsung Galaxy S4 now available from Sprint, the carrier is pushing Sammy’s last year flagship to its wholly owned no contract subsidiaries, Boost Mobile and Virgin Mobile. Samsung launches $800,000 app competition for Galaxy S4

Samsung has launched a global app competition to get new apps for its recently unveiled Galaxy S4 smartphone. Developers looking to win some cash and extra exposure should take advantage of the Samsung Chord SDK, which is used to create ad-hoc groups with multi-devices in real-time. Consumer Reports took a look at the latest smartphones on the market and selected the Galaxy S4 from Samsung as its number one phone. it replaces the LG Optimus G, which occupied the top spot for a few months earlier this year. The reviewers point to the 1080P display, the gesture and sensor-based tools, and the IR blaster as standout features on the device. Samsung’s Galaxy Mega 6.3 is coming to the U.K. sometime this July, according to a blog post from U.K. retailer Clove. Rumor: Sprint To Offer LG Optimus F3 In A Few Weeks?

Thanks to a leaked photo from @evleaks, it now looks as if LG will be bringing its Optimus F3 to Sprint’s network in the coming weeks.
