LG’s F-series Optimus devices are mid-range smartphones that are intended to bring LTE connectivity to customers at a low-cost. The Optimus F5 and F7 were announced at Mobile World Congress this year, with the F3 being announced shortly thereafter. The Optimus F3 touts a 4-inch WVGA display, runs on Android Jelly Bean 4.1.2 and is powered by a dual-core processor. The F3 also ships with a decent-sized 2,460 mAh battery, which should allow you to easily get through a full day on a single charge.

We should be seeing the Optimus F3 coming to Sprint’s network in the coming weeks. Any Sprint users out there interested in this device?

This shouldn’t come as much of a surprise, but iOS 7 is in fact adding more social networks to its list of integrated services. Twitter and Facebook were already on board, each debuting in iOS 5 and iOS 6 respectively. Now according to a report from 9to5Mac citing “a person familiar with the software,” Flickr and Vimeo are getting tied in as well.

Users will supposedly be able to sign in and manage their account integration from the Settings app, much like they’re able to do today with Twitter and Facebook. Once signed in, Flickr and Vimeo will appear in iOS 7′s share sheets so you can share photos and videos from your iOS device to the social networks.

The reason this shouldn’t be very surprising is the services’ integration already with OS X Mountain Lion. Currently if you’re a Mac user, you can share your photos to Flickr and videos to Vimeo because the two are rooted in the OS itself. Adding Flickr and Vimeo to iOS was the next logical step to keep the experience consistent across all of Apple’s platforms.

iOS users can still upload videos to YouTube despite all other Google services being completely stripped from the OS. It’s unclear whether the addition of Vimeo in iOS 7 will get rid of YouTube entirely (except of course for Google’s own YouTube app in the App Store) or if uploading to YouTube will remain an option alongside Vimeo. Hopefully it’s the latter.

An announcement like this would most likely make it into Apple’s WWDC 2013 keynote so expect to hear more in June.

We still don’t know when Samsung will officially launch the Galaxy S4 Active but now that we have the first leaked images, it’s likely we won’t have to wait for too long to get the press release. We’ll get back to you as soon as new details emerge; stay tuned in the meantime…

At the end of April, Samsung announced a new Galaxy tablet, the Galaxy Tab 3 7.0. A new leaked press photo from SamMobile shows that Samsung is also planning an 8-inch version of the device, dubbed the Galaxy Tab 3 8.0. The device is expected to be launched at the end of June, and to tout specs that are similar to the 7-inch Galaxy Tab 3, but with a little more power.

The Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 is rumored to be touting a dual-core 1.5 GHz processor, 1.5 GB of RAM, 16 GB of internal storage (expandable to 64GB via a microSD card) and a 4,450 mAh battery. The device will be running on Android 4.2.2, and will have a 5MP rear facing camera and a 1.3MP front-facing camera.

Supposedly, Samsung will also be rolling out a Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 later in the year, as well as a Galaxy Tab 3 Plus. The Galaxy Tab 3 Plus will more than likely be Samsung’s next flagship tablet, and will pack a 2560 x 1600 pixel display and a Exynos Octa-Core processor.

None of these specs are official, so we will more than likely see some changes before the Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 is officially launched.

The device is expected to be released in either late summer or early fall.

While the actual specs of the Samsung Galaxy Note are still up in the air, we will definitely be seeing more news about this device in the near future.

Spec wise, the white Nexus 4 is the same as the black Nexus 4, and it will be available for purchase in the Google Play Store on June 10th. Rumors also suggest that the unit will come touting the new version of Android, Android 4.3. We may see Android 4.3 roll out to other Nexus devices upon the release of the white Nexus 4, but still don’t know for sure.

We are still not sure what to expect from Android 4.3, and we will most likely not see any huge major improvements over Android 4.2. The Android 4.3 update will most likely include bug fixes and speed improvements, and support for Bluetooth Smart.

The white Nexus 4 is expected to be sold on June 10th for $299.

If you’ve been living under a rock, you may’ve missed Xiaomi and it’s great phones. The company has a sort of cult following in China with its phones selling out in days after the launch. But phones alone may not be enough for this growing giant with the new information suggesting they’re also looking to enter the laptop market.

According to rumors spreading across Weibo (Chinese Twitter), Xiaomi may launch a 15.6-inch laptop in August. Reportedly, this computer will come with Intel Core i7 processor, 8GB of RAM, GT660M graphics and the price tag of just 3,999 Yuan (about $650).

It’s unclear whether Xiaomi’s laptop will run Windows or some Linux distribution. GizChina thinks it will be a custom version of Linux with Xiaomi’s own MIUI running on top.

Yet again, we doubt this product will make it to the West, but if that happens, you’ll be the first to know. Stay tuned in the meantime…

Thanks to a tip from HTC’s Facebook page, it looks as though owners of the HTC One X, One X+ One S and the HTC Butterfly will be receiving a Sense 5 update. Sense 5 for those devices will be lacking BlinkFeed however, which is a feature that seems to be either loved or hated. The update should be rolling out over the next few months, but may take longer as the update needs to be approved by wireless providers before rolling out.

HTC’s Sense 5, which launched exclusively on the HTC One will delight Sense 4 users with its improved aesthetics, camera functions and lock screen. Sense 5 brings a new look that touts simplified icons and loses the 3D-rings that abound on the lock screen of Sense 4.

So keep your eyes peeled for this awesome Sense 5 update to be rolling out in the next few months!
