the thing about it lacking mms, is that just a software thing or is it a hardware deficiency? like, would nokia ever include an update that could add mms?

Uh, my HTC has the android OS, the Iphone is not much different then M$, you have a pay as you go OS, while Android is based on the superior Linux Kernel OS. You Apple anti M$ guys are a joke, always giver your loyalty to an M$ like monopoly. I think Apple is the bigger monopoly, your only choice is their hardware.

As Paul mentions, the price mentioned in this article is incorrect.

Please remember that in Sweden we often pay premium prices, there is no way to convert our swedish prices in kronor (Kr) straigth to US dollars (USD). From the start for example the N97 was 699 USD in the US, and in Sweden it cost 7000 kr at launch, which translates to 983 USD.

I was using the English version of Opera Mobile in China. Today, Opera forced me to download the Chinese version, which, other than having Chinese imput, is a terrible interface.

On the English version (which I can’t use now) I was able to access all of China’s blocked sites. China has had a hard time controlling the mobile internet. The Chinese version does not allow me access to these sites.

It seems that Opera has agreed to censor these websites themselves.

I will no longer be using any of Opera’s products.

Actually, Albany, GA; Amarillo, TX; and Abilene, TX were the only cities to get T-Mobile 3G in November. The other cities you listed received 3G in OCTOBER. Here’s a good place to look for actual launch dates if you’re ever in question: http://www.tmonews.com/category/3g/.

A rather positive take on Windows Mobile, to say that “it sounds like Microsoft is getting ready for a big push.”

All Microsoft’s mobile work in the past 18 months is to come out with what it calls a “placeholder” OS, that is, Windows Mobile 6.5. The operating system was widely condemned in reviews, as it does not recognise multi-touch at an OS level.

The next reprieve from the placeholder OS will be Windows Mobile 7. You get a sneak peak in March 2010. Followed by release somewhere near the end of 2010. A full year away.

You call that a big push? Unless you mean that they’re going to push WinMo off a cliff!

hey thanks for the info. The only problem I had was when I made the original shorter and then converted it to ACC, it only saved the start time of the song, so it was longer than 30 sec. So i just went into the info of the 2nd song and changed the end time, then made another copy. Other than that it worked great!! thanks heaps and no i dont have a jailbroken iphone but it is the new 3GS

Hey… I’ve also got this rattle in my black 16gb 3gs… Wondering what it was I googled it and sure enough there is a thread on it… Are you sure it is a shake censor rattling? Reason I ask is that since I read this thread I’ve tapped over my iPhone and sure enough it comes from the camera lense area, so as I originally thought it to be something to do with the camera lense/focus, I loaded the camera app and tapped it again and it seemed a lot louder and as if somthing is looser, I tried this a few times with the camera app on and off and it is defo a more pronounced rattle with the app on… So does the camera focus work abit like a cd drive laser focus and floats when on and is held back (but not solidly) when off?

Try it out see if yours does it… It seems to be only the camera app that gets it to do it worse…. I could be wrong as I have no idea how the camera focus works on the iPhone 3gs

I wonder if apple actually know where it comes from or if they are assuming “it must be x” as the iPhone 3g has shake to shuffel so therefore has the censor but no rattle
