Alaska Communications Systems (ACS) was the first telecommunications provider in the state of Alaska to maintain a third-generation wireless network. It is also the only provider in Alaska that owns fully incorporated infrastructure for the major telecommunications platforms, local phone service, long distance phone service, Internet networking, and wireless communications.
