There has been a recent phenomenon on the net where bloggers are playing a game of tag. It’s honestly just a chain letter, and I usually hate chain letters but this is different. The goal is for a blogger to express 5 things about themselves that their audience doesn’t know about them. I like this idea because I love getting to know people, and I also love trivia. Random facts + more intimate knowledge of a person = win!

- I’m a very impatient person when it comes to certain things. I have to have patience with the kids (which in itself is a task), but I think I have less patience when it comes to adults.
- My neice and nephew got me into mobile stuff. Way back in the Nokia 5190 days where pimping faceplates, LED’s and flashing antennas was the thing. Lol, my neice is still into it and has been trying to get me to give up my N73.
- My biggest confession… At one point in life I never wanted to be a mother. I just didn’t think I had the motherhood gene. Kids scared me. I never wanted to babysite or even watch my neices and nephews. When I held my son for the first time it kicked in. I became a gentle person. The motherhood gene appeared out of nowhere.
- I wanted to be a model when I was younger. I even went on castings when I was a teenager, but I hated the fact of how they wanted to change my image. I did do a catalog for Bradlees when I was in the 8th grade and I hated it. I didn’t like the fuss. They put vaseline on my teeth and I hated it with a passion… I think this might revert back to the first item because even then I didn’t have patience.
- I’ve always been known as "one of the guys". I don’t know what it was about my personality, but I’ve always associated with men better than women. I was always that "cool girl" that the cute guys hung out with. I think maybe I wasn’t interested in dating them because they were honest with me and I knew how shallow they were. But I never revealed their secrets.
Tommi Vilkamo says:
- I was probably the last person in Finland to buy a mobile phone.
- I hate the debate about "Is this cup half-full or half-empty". Like Sinuhe the Egyptian, I demand my cup full.
- I was kicked out of a band 15 years ago (I sucked). Eventually, they became the Children of Bodom. I became an engineer. Well, sort of.
- In 2002, a couple of months before they hired me at Nokia, I was so
broke that I had to volunteer as a human-guinea-pig in testing new
medicines. My piss turned red. - I never pass on chain letters. Not even those that I enjoy.
And now it is my turn … but I have a mental block. First of all that limit of 5 is what’s killing me, I’d rather list as many as I can think of then pick only 5 things. Second, I stink at answering vague questions; I like direct questions that don’t give me space to ramble for 15 minutes. I strongly believe in interactive media and transparency so I’ll leave it up to you guys:
What do you want to know about me?
I’ll do my best to answer any questions asked, and if I feel inspired to add a few factoids of my own then all the better! Am I breaking the rules of this game? Yes. Do I like following rules? Nope!
I’ll let you guys think of as many questions as you can over the course of a week, next Saturday the 27th of January I’ll post my answers.
More likely then not I’ll make a reminder about this post on Wednesday just to maximize coverage.
UPDATE: Don’t limit yourself to one question, bang out as many as you want to, just remember I’m not going to answer anything until next week!
