Now this is big. It seems that the long-time awaited .NET Compact Framework 1.0 for Nokia Symbian S60 smartphones has been released by Red Five Labs, with a no-royalties runtime.
The significance of this release is hard to deny, as it may bring more applications and developers to the S60 platform, which is known for its complexity. Furthermore, this may bring many of the existing Windows Mobile applications to the Nokia smartphones.
