There’s just something intrinsically appealing about a web-application that allows you to post images from your handset straight to the web. Fox Interactive Media’s Photobucket image-hosting service has just gone mobile – you can now view, share, and even upload images from your mobile phone straight to your Photobucket account.
Point your mobile browser to m.photobucket.com to access Photobucket’s web-based mobile interface. The new mobile version gives you access your Photobucket account as well as public Photobucket content. While group channel broadcasting options are still not available, Photobucket has plans to enable those features in the future.
Just as Flickr’s mobile interface provides you with a username-specific email address to which you can email photos, Photobucket provides you with an email upload interface. The title of your email is your image’s title, the email body is translated as your photo’s description. It’s fairly quick, and incredibly easy – especially on the, ahem, iPhone.
Which mobile photo uploading service do you prefer – Flickr or Photobucket?
