At the beginning of September Dusan reported that the Yellow MOTOACTV W450 might be coming to T-Mobile. Well, today we have confirmation of that, however according to the product shots, it looks to be more of an orange version (Mandarin Orange, in fact) of the rugged clamshell device.
If you’re an active person that enjoys the outdoors, the Motorola Active (as it is also known) was made for hiking and other high-energy activities. The outside of the device has a rubber-like surface, and has a built-in location for you to clip the phone to your belt.
To ensure you’re covered should anything go wrong while you’re hiking, or enjoying the outdoors in general… T-Mo is preloading the device with Mayo Clinic software to help you get through any medical issues.
Nothing too spectacular here, but if you need a rugged and compact phone, this could be it. The MOTOACTV features a 1.3MP camera, media playback and a regular microSD slot that can hold up to 2GB of flash storage.
You can pick one up for $29.99 from T-Mo on a 2-year plan (after discounts).
