Fan of the Showtime series Dexter!? If you are, (and you have an iPhone) you’ll probably be pleased with this news. Rumors have it that ‘America’s Favorite Serial Killer’ will be making his way to an iPhone near you before the end of the year.
According to G4tv.com:
Developed by Icarus Studios, the video game debut of Dexter will stay true to the TV series, putting players into “investigative” style gameplay. In the show, the main man Dexter Morgan is a blood-splatter analyst for the police, although his fascination for blood isn’t professional at all times. In the game, players will analyze crime scenes, uncover evidence and ultimately decide whether to turn in a suspect to the cops or have Dexter do what he does best–yes, just like the TV show.
Since the show’s debut in 2006, Dexter has been one of Showtime’s highest-rated series ever. This year the show earned an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Drama Series, and show star Michael C. Hall received a nomination for Best Actor. On top ot that, the show won a Peabody Award earlier in the year.
If you’ve never seen the show, you can check it out on Sunday nights on Showtime. The series has just been extended for another 2 seasons… So it’ll be on the air for some time to come yet!
Look for the new game to make an appearance in the App Store before the end of the year!
