mobile.blackberry.com just got a bit of a makeover today, making it easier to find answers to technical questions, poke around at free content like ringtones and wallpapers, and discover new services. Load times have been shaved down alongside a new navigation system, making the overall browsing experience that much better. This is about as close to an Application Center as you’re going to get on any BlackBerry other than a Storm, and to be honest, it’s just as good considering the Application Center sends you off to a web page to download software anyway. I certainly hope that the Application Storefront, which will host a wide range of commercial third-party apps and launch in March, will be closer to one-click purchaces than that. Chewing through EULAs makes the whole process a bit of a pain, so until the Application Storefront comes out with a few new features, the BlackBerry mobile site will do the job just fine.
