Motorola AURA unboxing makes us envious

We’re not the type to turn green with envy for most mobile phones on market. After all, we probably have been playing with the device since before its launch.

But, when it comes to super-exclusive luxury handsets with multi-thousand dollar price tags, we’re right there in line with all the other envious mobile enthusiasts. Granted, the Motorola AURA fits in at the low-end of the luxury handset market with its $2,000 asking price, but that doesn’t take away from the fact that we’re not going to be shelling out a couple month’s worth of rent money for Motorola’s latest luxo-phone.

The lucky folks at T3 managed to get their hands on the Motorola AURA and have posted their unboxing pictures for the world to see. Motorola isn’t exactly known for their luxury mobile phone lineup, but the Moto AURA could have fooled us. With its innovative form-factor, generous use of metal, and sapphire crystal display lens, the Motorola AURA oozes “high-endiness.” Oh, and take a gander at that box. That’s the kind of suede-covered box that $2,000 gets you.

Check out the entire unboxing gallery over at T3.
