The Sony Ericsson TM506 has been serving up T-Mobile’s own special flavor of 3G on the 1700Mhz AWS spectrum for some time now. Sony Ericsson had previously offered the Sony Ericsson TM506 in Black or Emerald Green, and is now updating the lineup with a new Scarlet Red color option.
The Scarlet Red TM506 features a 2 megapixel camera, aGPS, Stereo Bluetooth 2.0, myFaves support, and compatibility with T-Mobile’s 3G network in the US.
T-Mobile’s 3G network has yet to go completely nationwide, but the Sony Ericsson TM506 is ready for the day when T-Mobile USA blankets the US in 1700Mhz 3G coverage. Just think how fast you can download new ringtones and music with that 3G data connection…
