With over 10 million units shipped last year, China-based ZTE is the world’s second largest supplier of HSPA data cards. Now at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona they are announcing the launch of two such products:
- First comes the MF662, which was specifically designed to work with the HSPA+ networks. Even though it measures just 69x27x12 mm, the data card offers download and upload rates of up to 21.6Mbps and 5.76Mbps, respectively.
- The second product that was announced is the MF645. At just 93×28.8×12.9 mm, it’s the “world’s smallest TV data card,” enabling users to watch digital television on their computers over a 3G connection. The ZTE MF645 supports download speeds of up to 7.2Mbps and upload speeds of up to 2Mbps.
In the other news, ZTE said that their complete line of mobile broadband data cards will support Windows 7 and will be compliant with the Windows Network Driver Interface Specification 6.20, NDIS6.20.
